Engineering a Global B2B Catalog for an Industrial Robotics Manufacturer: The Sango Automation Case Study

How we built a Next.js B2B product catalog for a factory-automation manufacturer, engineered to load fast and rank well for buyers researching technical equipment in 50+ countries.

Sango Automation manufactures linear robots, cam indexers, planetary gearboxes and hollow rotary tables for factory automation — real industrial hardware, sold B2B to manufacturing engineers worldwide. Their site, live at sango-automation.com, is one of ours: a catalog and lead-generation platform we built and still reference as a Case Study on our own site, so every number here is checkable in the same place we send prospective clients.

The problem

Sango's product line spans dozens of highly technical components, and their buyers are procurement engineers doing detailed technical research, not casual browsers. The brief was to structure that catalog for global B2B buyers — meaning the site had to load fast regardless of which country the buyer was searching from, and search engines had to actually understand each product page well enough to surface it for specific technical queries.

What we built

We used Next.js server-side rendering with global edge caching, so page loads stay fast whether the buyer is in Germany, the US or Southeast Asia. Every product page carries structured JSON-LD schema markup, which is what actually lets search engines parse technical specifications instead of just indexing generic text. We also built interactive product visualizers and a streamlined RFQ (request-for-quote) pipeline, so a qualified buyer can move from research to inquiry without friction.

  • ▸Next.js SSR with global edge/CDN caching for consistent load times worldwide.
  • ▸Structured JSON-LD product schema for technical-search visibility.
  • ▸Interactive product visualizers for complex mechanical components.
  • ▸A streamlined RFQ pipeline connecting qualified inquiries directly to the sales process.

The result

The site expanded Sango's commercial reach across 50+ countries with increased B2B organic search traffic — the kind of outcome that matters for an industrial manufacturer whose buyers are actively searching for a specific technical capability, not browsing.
